Que é uma pena, mas, Nick deixou o Spock's Beard, no comunicado feito em seu site ele fala que o Spock's Beard nunca foi sua principal fonte de renda e que ele sempre teve que fazer alguns projetos paralelos(Cirque du Soleil) para garantir o sustento de sua família: O Nick, em minha opinião, é muito melhor do que o Neal e é uma pena que pelo jeito não veremos ele envolvido com música progressiva tanto quanto o Neal está envolvido, uma grande perda para o Spock's Beard.

I started to like Trivium after I heard Shattering The Skies Above, which comes along with God of War 3 Special Edition, since then, I started to like them more and more. The first time I heard in Waves I hadn't enjoyed it so much, because I thought In Waves would sound like Shattering the Skies Above, but I have to say this album is fucking awesome, it's a perfect match of Thrash vocals with Matt's clean voice..

Apesar das inúmeras reclamações, não há regulação que garanta a qualidade da internet que pagamos.
Isso pode mudar dentro de algumas semanas. Para isso, dependemos de quatro pessoas: os membros do Conselho Diretor da Anatel. Eles se reúnem toda quinta-feira e, em breve, votarão uma resolução sobre a qualidade da internet. Infelizmente, há uma enorme pressão dos provedores de banda larga pela aprovação de uma regulação fraca. Precisamos nos manifestar para que a agência não atenda apenas aos interesses das empresas.

I was reading my first post which was in 2008, it stated about DT was coming to Brazil and How much I was excited, also, much of this excitement came because studio albums, since Train of Thought, that was the first one that I bought of them, to Systematic Chaos that at the time was the last one, and even that many people say it was their worst album, but We can't say that The Dark Eternal Night was a shit and In The Presence of Enemies was another one. I mean, what taking someone to the concerts are the studio albums and for more unbelievable it seems I am not the least bit excited for this tour and I don't even know if I'll be coming, mainly because the setlist is not good, the pentagram thing as big screen was a bad idea (for the size), well, the guys are trying to construct, deconstructing. I don't wanna say bad things about DT, because the guys are the icons of Prog Metal yet and They still continue playing greatly, but there are something missing on this tour and on their new album. I don't wanna say it's because Portnoy, away from me, but something is missing. ☼
Portnoy was chubby in this picture, so cute, James had hair, Petrucci hadn't. Jordan: never had it; noo, He had it until Six Degrees I guess, Fuck, the only one who hasn't changed was Myung. I always thought He was a robot, yeah, I think He is.. xDDD

Esse álbum foi um dos poucos que me empolgaram nesse ano, aliás, quando ouvi a primeira vez lembrei do vocalista do Anubis Gate (a voz do Nate é bem parecida com o vocalista deles). Eu já tinha visto o vídeo que traz a música Trace of Trait e achei bem foda, inclusive por trazer algumas certas inovações no som do Almah, e tinha percebido que o som tá mais pesado e ao mesmo tempo me fez lembrar um pouco do Empyrios, mas depois que eu escutei todas as canções vi que o Almah arriscou bastante nesse novo lançamento, o que se percebe nas primeiras canções, sinceramente, eu achei que o arquivo que eu tinha baixado fosse fake, mas não era. Eles conseguiram inovar e fazer o álbum mais pesado do Almah até agora, nesse álbum eles usaram elementos trash, heavy metal, hard rock e a voz do Edu tá bem diferente, tá mais agressiva, a banda inteira soa mais Rock and Metal...

Porra, tá aí 3 bandas que eu gosto muito, inclusive uma que eu sou super fan que é o DGM, o Symphony eu tive a chance e o privilégio de assistir esses caras ao vivo em 2008, e já disse o quanto eles são ótimos ao vivo e principalmente por terem um excepcional frontman, Russel Alen é o cara. Essas incríveis bandas vão estar em turnê na Europa em Setembro e em Outubro, esses caras seriam o Big Three do metal progressivo, aliás, as três, em seus recentes lançamentos estão incríveis, indiscutivelmente são os melhores lançamentos desse ano...
Porra, isso me leva a pensar em uma possível tour com o Symphony X aqui em Sampa, hein? o que seria foda!!
Falando sobre essas bandas, queria agradecer ao Andreas pelos autógrafos, aliás, foi o melhor presente de aniversário que eu já poderia ter ganho de pessoas que realmente eu admiro, thanks again!

Once Again Mike is gonna be in brasilis lands, but this time with Stone Sour. Mike is going to replace the drummer Roy Mayorga on the (fake)Rock in Rio. Roy Mayorga is looking forward for the arrival of his first daughter to be born on exactly the same day of the concert in Rio, then Roy asked his big friend Portnoy to replace him. Mike have been here twice last year: One with DT e another with A7x, and one more time this year. I hope He comes here with AM, it's too bad that Mike usually is coming to these big concerts that You have to sleep many days on the line to get a place fucking bad, Holy Crap!
recently Mike says that would have waited Petrucci if He wanted to take a Break from Dream Theater...
in this interview, as always, Mike Has proven to be conscious in his comments (when everything happened, I cannot say I was really pissed with him and I cried, fuck, but now, I think Mike really deserves respect for everything He did for the band, in my opinion: when you are born with something and suddenly it's taken from you, it's hard to restructure, it would be like you are born perfect and after 25 years you lose one of your legs, then They say that everything is gonna be fine because you can put a prosthesis, but it's not the same thing it's never gonna be the same, it's up to you get used with your loss and somehow to get over it. I think DT have yet to overcome this maybe on the next album might happen) unlike James and Jordan who if had nothing better to talk, stay quiet.
PS: First time, around 7 years that I am DT fan, that Warner Brazil makes available some DT album in the same week of its worldwide release. A Dramatic Turn of Events standard edition is being sold here with delivery time only 2 days.

Eu não deixo de dizer o quanto eu sou fan desses caras e como já tinha falado em um post antigo: é uma banda que é muito difícil de comentar, até porque sou muito fan deles, e é uma pena que eles tenham lançado o último álbum de estúdio em 2007 e por enquanto, aparentemente não pretendem lançar nada novo, bem, enquanto eles não lançam um álbum de inéditas. Eles recentemente lançaram um álbum duplo e um dvd chamado Tour Kaputt, esse dvd foi gravado na Holanda em 2007, eles entitularam como bootleg, mas isso é uma grande mentira xD, porque a qualidade está INCRÍVEL , é material indispensável àqueles admiradores não só de boa música, mas de rock progressivo, ou como alguns dizem: Symphonic Prog; pra quem gostou de The Sum of No Evil e pra quem já é fan antigo da banda, esse material novo resgata toda magia do rock progressivo em todas suas nuances, grande cd e dvd que com certeza vale a pena comprar! foda²!

I've heard a few times the new DT ADTOE and...
I want to listen since the first song for not losing the album concept, then
I started with the great On the Back of Angels,
Build me Up, Break me Down reminds some song from James Labrie - Elements of Persuation, mainly for the electronic part,
Lost not Forgotten starts with a remarkable piano solo, then the guys start shredding everything, James Labrie' voice is really interesting in this song,
This is the Life is one of the few that hook u, great song, but the vibe is sad,
Bridges in the Sky starts with a burp, i guess it is, then it comes with a Petrucci's killer riff that, if DT had someone doing growling vocals it would be fucking awesome! it reminds The Shattered Fortress,
till Break all Illusions, it's hard to say some song that excited me, I think Bridges in the Sky, perhaps for the Riff, so far the best one, I miss some heavy pieces in this album and it was How I thought, the songs are more melodic, I don't know if it's a criticism or it's a compliment, for many it could be the right way.
Beneath the Surface reminds some thing kinda Lazarus from PT, beautiful song
..after I've listened to the entire album, I think On The Back of Angels is the best one.
DVD The Spirit Carries On Documentary: as everyone I was thinking that in this DVD we would have more Bonus footage, deleted scenes, material that They didn't upload to You Tube... but another disappointment, the video is the same! sincerely for who has spoken that this released would be glorious.. OMG, it has to be noted that They put a lot of effort on that, thanks guys! but ADTOE don't beat some other releases of this year.
After all dramatic events, this is the DT answer for all fans around the world, for many it would be enough for other it won't be.
I am DT fan , but this album is not what I was expecting, but suddenly, who knows.. I could change my mind,
it seems, for this album, the guys are still sad for everything that happened: the departure after 25 years, Fuck crap no!
To be noted: one week before ADTOE comes out, this is the first DT release that you can find FLAC files with the scans to download, and that seems it's gonna be my first DT album that I won't buy :-(

Ouvi esses caras no ano passado, não dei tanta atenção, não achei que era tão especial, mas estava errado. Karnivool seria uma mistura de Tool com Porcupine Tree, e ainda sendo, em minha opinião, melhor que o PT, banda super perfeita ao vivo e neste álbum eles mostram o quanto são bons..

Tava meio estampado de uma forma bem subentendida que o Roy tava deixando o Kamelot, é lógico que pra os fans isso ainda era difícil de acreditar que ele estava deixando a banda, e era mais fácil acreditar que o Roy estava voltando, mas ainda acho que o Kamelot sem o Roy é como o chocolate sem o açúcar: não tem graça. : p
Fiquei feliz com as palavras do Roy que parece estar em paz dessa vez...
Queridos fãs e amigos;
Tem havido muita especulação em torno do motivo pelo qual eu não estou em turnê com o Kamelot, e quero fazer uma declaração, embora não possa evitar as especulações sobre o que realmente está acontecendo. É fato, porém, que eu disse à banda já no outono passado (bem depois de meu esgotamento) que eu estava deixando a banda. Naturalmente, eles ficaram chocados (assim como o selo e todos os outros que trabalham com o Kamelot). Além do risco de queda nas vendas de bilhetes, eles queriam me dar tempo para pensar sobre isso, e assim fiz. Minha decisão ainda permanece. Acabou.
Estou neste momento passando um tempo com minha família na Noruega indo com calma e pensando profundamente no que o futuro vai trazer. A comunicação com o mundo exterior tem sido lenta, mas eu tive várias conversas com Thomas (Youngblood) nesse tempo, embora eu ainda seja chamado de doente. Estou terrivelmente triste que minha decisão afete tantos e eu quero que saibam que eu desejo à banda e a todos os membros o melhor para o futuro e que apreciei cada segundo nos holofotes. Como eu não poderia? Fomos alimentados pelos melhores fãs do mundo! Sou eternamente grato por tudo que você e o Kamelot me deram e também sinto muito que isso tenha que terminar aqui. É pessoal... parece que estamos bem próximos do anunciamento do novo baterista do Dream Theater e, sinceramente, quando ouvi esse nome, porra, quem é Mike Mangini? Eu sei de uma coisa, se o novo álbum e os shows não forem a altura do que eram com o Mike Portnoy, não vai passar mais de dois anos para que todos os fans peçam o retorno de Mike Pornoy, é, momento tenso, mas os caras do Dream Theater deveriam avaliar melhor as suas escolhas, e pelo menos escolher alguém que tivesse algum envolvimento com música progressiva, Porra.. esse é o tipo de notícia brochante: Vai se Fudê!

A primeira vez que eu escutei Slightly Mad no You Tube, achei chata, mas pra você entender a complexidade desse álbum, você tem que escutar desde a primeira até a última: O novo álbum da banda Magic Pie é o mais complexo que a banda já criou, com frases totalmente insanas que, lembram algumas vezes o virtuosismo do Dream Theater aliado a beleza do rock progressivo, é o tipico do álbum que não deve ser escutado por quem nunca tenha ouvido metal progressivo ou rock. Destaques pra todas as músicas, em especial pra Endless Ocean: the anthem!

I don't know if it's the first Hasse Froberg's album (The Flower Kings's vocalist and guitarist), I Know it's a very good album, it's an album that ranges from Hard Rock that leaves other bands in the dust, even some classics of rock progressive, fucking awesome!

What I appreciate about progressive music is, usually you find everything you need, since a slow music to a heavy, some kinda heavenly, other kinda hellish, but we can't deny that all have content, and regardless what some douche could think, the progressive music is the best.

Puta queu Pariu, foi exatamente o meu sentimento quando eu ouvi esse álbum, Puta Merda! como esse álbum havia passado despercebido?! O mais recente álbum do Darkwater é totalmente foda! E sei lá, tipo, como esses caras estivessem se tornando muitíssimo influentes nesse meio progressivo, definitivamente álbum que talvez compre e recomendadíssimo! ☼

Porra, aí não! meu, por mais que o Portnoy tenha feito algo que não deveria; certo.. Ele errou, não deveria ter tomado esta atitude extrema de ter abandonado a banda, mas, os caras do Dream Theater deveriam perdoar o cara, caraio, quem não erra? quem nunca fez merda?! Vai se fudê! Just days after it was announced that he'd been dismissed as the touring drummer for AVENGED SEVENFOLD, Portnoy revealed that he tried to rejoin DREAM THEATER, and was rebuffed.
Portnoy, who co-founded DREAM THEATER more than 20 years ago, abruptly quit the band this summer while on tour with AVENGED SEVENFOLD.
He played on AVENGED SEVENFOLD's latest album, "Nightmare", following the death of that band's drummer, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, and has toured with them since early summer.
