Maximum Overload

I started to like them after I saw a concert which they were supporting Trivium, that was a hell of  concert, anyway They really grew on me after that night. The new album is something totally unexpected, it’s hammering, heavier than their last album and quite Power ful, also Matt from Trivium leaves his mark on first track, what’s awesome!

Again and again I tried
so hard, to reach for the stars
 but I failed you all
tried to keep standing tall
never had a real chance at all
but still I'm searching for

Ten thousand ways to say sorry
but life writes its own tragic story
time marches onwards and
nothing can ever be the same

But we'll pray for a brighter tomorrow
break free from this lifetime of sorrow
years pass us by but we're all just a part of the game

The Amanuensis

The First song that I heard from them was Regenerate, and it was kinda unusual the way I learned about them. This is indeed Monuments, it's not a usual band, it's not only about the songs or the great musicians They are, what these musicians are doing is above and beyond and the new album is this bridge to the evolution, amazing!

"in spite of making this
all I breathe
I'm sitting soulless
in moments unforeseen

but I
 long to feel the breeze
bound by this disease
scars to take the place
 of open channels
with no stream
I've got the answer
do I dare to heed?..

this is the end
of promises made
 that were never meant
to hurt
let it go let it go"

Voyager is a band from Australia, I really like everything this band, all set are really very interesting, and Danny really reminds  Nils of PM, in a different way actually, anyway this band is awesome!

Quantum Enigma

I remember I used to listen to Epica and it's been a long time since the last time I heard some material of them. I think since Consign to Oblivion (I got it) I haven't heard anything of them, since I started to listen to Prog (2005), I really quit this kind of music they used to do, but listening to their new album I can really say this is a New Epica. The First song that I've listened was The Essence of Silence, I really can't get enough this song, really devastating! They are really sounding more heavy, Symphonic, Power, the guitars are really poisoned, the growling are great, Simone's really breathtaking, and it really has the effect to push u forward, fucking great masterpiece!

"The quantum enigma
when will look around and see
 We will affect the energy
When we observe by any means

We will create reality
We will not find if we don't seek
We will not know if we don't peek
We cannot do if we don't be
Facing our deadlock now
This is our quantum enigma"
