I know Javier for his work with Animal As Leaders, he's one of those unreachable guitar players who are really above average. It's hard to analyze whether it is better or not than Path 1, what I do know is this New Album (Netherworld II) is a great sequel for the beautiful Chronicles of Immortals - Path I, also We can notice the continuity, the first song starts with the Vision 11even, probably hereafter They will be releasing a box with the two Parts which would be an awesome addition for the lovers of music as art. All songs manage to draw attention like that book you need to read until the aftermath, and indeed The Last Vision (19teen) seems to be the epic conclusion to this tale, awesome!

I start to Like Cyinc when they released Traced in Air around 2009, that time I did not like them too much , I used to think that songs with growling vocal were a waste, but there was something that draw my attention in that CD. I think a few months later I really was into what I thought was a waste. I don't know exactly what happens to these guys take this extreme decision to split up, regardless their sexuality I really like their work over the past years, also My First Cynic Album (EP) was Carbon Based Anatomy, one of the greatest Cynic albums that really lifts me up in bad times. I'd like to thank you guys for your inspiration, contribution over the years, not only musically but spiritually as well, thank you! Hope to see you someday live again.
Sean Statement:
It is with a heavy heart that I post today's CYNIC news. CYNIC is no longer an active band. Due to artistic and personal differences, the second chapter in the ‘BOOK OF CYNIC’ has come to an end.
I will say the last shows we played in JAPAN have left me with a positive charge, even though they were the last live performances with Paul, Sean Malone & I on the same stage. My longstanding creative partnership with Paul, which started when we were very young kids in south Florida, has simply endured so much friction that there is no way, from my perspective, that CYNIC can be salvaged, repaired or kept afloat by any means.
I profusely apologize to the fans who were not only expecting us in China & Taiwan (that was not our fault), but to the fans who were planning to see us in Europe next month. These things happen, unfortunately, to bands. There can be differing levels of conflicts and/or differences in opinions, musical directions, or perspectives. Sometimes these things are insurmountable, and no amount of time or effort can resolve them. This is the case with CYNIC.
This page will stay up, and of course there are our respective personal pages and websites that will continue to let everyone know what we’re doing individually.
I wish all of you love & peace.
-Sean

I'm not an old follower of Stryper, but even I've liked "No More Hell to Pay", The new album Fallen has something more than "NMHTP", the guitars are really more intense, you can feel more energy coming from the band, and the surprising is that even the guys are in their fifties, They still rock! omg btw who did not have the opportunity to see these guys live, definitely have to see their concert, no matter if you're christian or you have satan as your commmander, these guys are above any religion at all, it's worth it!

This concert was recorded on 2014 in Atlanta at mythological Prog Power USA, omg, They played the entire Celestial Entrance album, just for that I tremble, but speaking of the new live album. I think for those who like Pagan's Mind for a few years (like me), it really joins all qualities of these guys, since Nils who is doing an amazing vocal job to Viggo who is as always amazing with his hammering guitar play, also all band mates are really in exceptional shape. The album features yet Michael Eriksen (Circus Maximus) in 2 songs (Walk Away in Silence and Eyes of Fire), for all these features, it's really essential for who likes Pagan's Mind and great music, it's a "must have" for sure!
