The Suffering Joy

Destaques pra todas as músicas, em especial pra Endless Ocean: the anthem!

1. A Life's Work (Part I) - Questions Unanswered
2. A Life's Work (Part II) - Overture
3. A Life's Work (Part III) - A Brand New Day
4. A Life's Work (Part IV) - The Suffering Joy
5. Headlines
6. Endless Ocean
7. Slightly Mad
8. Tired
9. In Memoriam

Buy It!

I pity your system I pity your law
The rule is simple: You read as you saw
So, listen you fools
You pathetic - misguided old mules:
Learn to live - live to learn...

No Matter What everyone seems to believe
We do things in order to feed our material greed
We are born, we grow up and we want to move on
And everyone seems to reach for the sun
So easy to be fooled and a part of the run
We need to bring forward
What we need to survive...

Hasse Froberg

I don't know if it's the first Hasse Froberg's album (The Flower Kings's vocalist and guitarist), I Know it's a very good album, it's an album that ranges from Hard Rock that leaves other bands in the dust, even some classics of rock progressive, fucking awesome!

Hasse Fröberg and Musical Companion - Future Past

01. Sound From the Empire
02. Fallen Empire
03. Song for July
04. Piece of The Sky
05. I wouldn't Change a Thing
06. Above
07. Everyday
08. The Ultimate Thrill
09. Only My Blood

Buy It!
Listen to it!

"Give me a Piece of The Sky
Don't leave me here to die
Give Me a Piece of the Sky
You Know this State I'm in
just Give me Something to believe in.."

What I appreciate about progressive music is, usually you find everything you need, since a slow music to a heavy, some kinda heavenly, other kinda hellish, but we can't deny that all have content, and regardless what some douche could think, the progressive music is the best.

Chapter II: Aftermath

Harmony - Chapter II: Aftermath

01 Prevail
02 Aftermath
03 Rain
04 Don't Turn Away
05 Kingdom
06 Silently We Fade
07 Inner Peace
08 Weak
09 I Run
10 Hollow Faces
11 End Of My Road

Where Stories End

Darkwater - Where Stories End

1. Breathe
2. Why I bleed
3. Into the cold
4. A fools utopia
5. Queen of the night
6. In the blink of an eye
7. Fields of sorrow
8. Without a sound
9. Walls of deception

buy it!

Mind Flow - 365

1. Thrust Into This Game
2. The Ride
3. Instinct
4. Corrupted
5. Walking Tall
6. Crisis FX
7. Break Me Out
8. To Say Goodbye
9. Rules Of Engagement
10. Shuffle Up And Deal
11. Reset The Future
12. With Bare Hands

War is there!
There are no rules, no certainty, no easy race
Fight with me!
People seem to always know what to do, how to behave
Burn in rage!
Everybody is lost and trying to find the way Away from their own instinct…

He wants to come Back!!

How Come?

http://bit.ly/hPycg0

Just days after it was announced that he'd been dismissed as the touring drummer for AVENGED SEVENFOLD, Portnoy revealed that he tried to rejoin DREAM THEATER, and was rebuffed.

Portnoy, who co-founded DREAM THEATER more than 20 years ago, abruptly quit the band this summer while on tour with AVENGED SEVENFOLD.

He played on AVENGED SEVENFOLD's latest album, "Nightmare", following the death of that band's drummer, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, and has toured with them since early summer.

All that Remains....

As the year draws to a close, Let's go to the best ones, for everything I've listened to this year, btw, the blog is usually about what I'm listening to, then you're not gonna see me to put one million albums here, certanly, I will not be able to hear all these. I could do as the others that are used to put many albums, but I am sure They don't even listen one-third of them...

The best of the year in a Mortal's View

Cynic - Re-traced: it doesn't fit in any of those tags, and while it does not fit, it ends up being  one of the most fucking great albums that I've heard this year.

Progressive Rock

Spock's Beard -X: When I heard this album for the first time, I knew it would be the best album of the year, no one beat their new album, too bad it's so hard They go on tour, South America no fucking way..

Transatlantic - The Whirlwind Live in London 2010: great release of 2010, both dvd and cd.

Progressive Power Metal

Masterplan - Time To be King: This album is so good that I have no words to express it, besides They are  back with the amazing Jorn Lande on vocals!

Angra - Aqua: it was a great release of this year, Angra is coming back and kinda saying to everyone: Yes, We can!

Progressive Metal!!!

Vanden Plas - Seraphic Clockwork: It's the best because it can merge heavy guitars with insane tunes, I hope They can interpret this album live! "besides this is super christian album!" xDDD .|.

Kamelot - Poetry for the Poisoned: Kamelot is back with a new album which remembers The Black Halo concept, and for sure it was a great release this year!

Seventh Wonder - The Great Escape: it's very fresh release and one of the best SW albums, highlight for the vocals that resemble some SymphonY X album!

Progressive Death Metal:  this was the year I heard more songs kinda Death Metal!

James Labrie - Static Impulse: The latest James Labrie album is the most controversial and at the same time is the best James's solo album! and there will be someone saying yet.. Oh my God..I can not stand to hear grownling vocals, if they aren't there it would be perfect, Hey.. C'mon, grow some balls! I used to not like this type of music, but when you start to understand, it's really awesome!

Mutiny Within - Mutiny Within: it was also one of the most listened albums this year, with extreme energy flowing from beginning to the end.

Division By Zero - Independent Harmony: also it was a great release this year, besides the vocalist reminds Mariuz Duda.

this would be the best of 2010, this for Who likes heavy songs merging melodic pieces, and  rock progressive albums with a theme not so heavy.

thanks for stopping by, I'd like to thank all my supporters: these who I know and those who I don't know, thanks!

this year I've learned that all in life has a price, and that worth having everything if I can barely sleep at night, Peace!
